Utah Desert

The desert is a harsh environment, yet contains rich habitats and a vast number of creatures and plants. Since I was young, I have felt a magic connection to the hostile beauty of the Utah desert. The openness of this landscape gives an eerie stillness that causes me to turn inwards. The endless heavens, and carved out canyons leave me contemplating my place in this earth. The desert is old and feels wise. I am in awe.
